The story of ‘Gorgeous’ George O’Connell, bare-knuckle fighter and traveller, who enters the world of professional boxing which puts him on a collision course with his roots, his identity and his greatest fear.
Gypsy Queen was born of a desire to explore intersections between sport, faith and sexuality.
Gypsy Queen will be followed by a Q & A with the performers and a short panel discussion on the key themes from the play.
