GAMEFACE: Interactive Art and Exhibition

Wednesday, 23rd July, 11:00 Pride House Glasgow

Using a hybrid traditional/digital workflow, our artists in residence will interview and photograph visitors to the venue, tying in with Garry’s current LGBT History month Cultural Commission and with Lucy’s commission in 2013. These photographs will be used to create sketches on a digital tablet, which we will project onto the wall. Using a thick and fast Fauvist-style method, we’ll then paint participants portraits directly onto the wall. Frame by frame photographs of the creation of the work will result in an unfolding animation showing the diversity, individuality and complexity of the LGBT community.

This work and exhibition will run throughout Pride House Glasgow.
